What Navah does today

Knows the candle-lighting time for your city — looked up live, not guessed.
Goes quiet the moment Shabbos comes in. Back after Havdala.
Delete everything Navah knows about your family: text DELETE MY DATA, confirm the code, done.
Understands Hebrew and Yiddish mixed into English.

Goes quiet the moment Shabbos comes in. Back after Havdala.

She looks it up. You don’t.

You just ask. No app to learn, no form to fill in.

YouWhat time is licht bentchen this week?
NavahLicht bentchen is 7:05pm on Friday, September 4, in Lakewood, NJ. I’ll go quiet around then and check back in after Shabbos.

A real answer, from a real Friday.

A written-out example from Friday, September 4, 2026 — not a screenshot.

Example conversations, written out. The candle-lighting time above is the real one for Lakewood, NJ on Friday, September 4, 2026, from Hebcal — Navah looks up times live, for the city you tell it, so what you see will be your city and your date. The Tuesday-night reminder shows the same reminder engine that runs in the product today.

Things you never have to explain to her

  • That licht bentchen is earlier this week than last.
  • That erev Yom Tov is not a normal Wednesday.
  • That Motzei Shabbos is when the week actually starts.
  • That “the kids’ sizes” means all of them, and they change.
  • That when you tell her someone was niftar, the answer begins “Baruch Dayan HaEmes.”
  • That she doesn’t pasken. If it’s a shaila, she’ll tell you to ask your Rav.

No glossary. No settings screen. She just knows.

Your family stays yours

  • It’s your information. What you tell Navah about your family stays yours, and is kept for as long as you’re a member — we never sell it, and we never share it for advertising. Ask for a copy of everything, or delete it all, any time.
  • Medical notes are encrypted. Medical notes, insurance details and a family member’s identity fields are encrypted at rest (AES-256). The rest of your information is not encrypted field by field — it is kept apart by per-household isolation, and nothing here is end-to-end encrypted. Our Privacy Policy says so plainly.
  • Delete it all, anytime. Text Navah DELETE MY DATA. It texts back a code; reply with it and everything Navah holds for your family is erased on the spot, and it tells you when it is done. Prefer email? Write hello@navah.ai and we do it by hand within 30 days. Two things are kept on purpose: a dated line saying you asked and we did it, and — if you have ever replied STOP — the record that says never text this number again.
  • Ask for a copy first. Text EXPORT MY DATA and Navah sends a link to a file with everything it holds for your family, medical notes decrypted and readable. The link opens once and expires in 24 hours. DATA STATUS tells you where a request stands.

What Navah will never do

  • Sell or rent your information, or share it for advertising. There is no ad network, no tracking pixel and no analytics vendor anywhere in Navah.
  • Message you on Shabbos or Yom Tov. Navah goes quiet for your city’s candle-lighting window and answers whatever you sent after havdala.
  • Give you a psak. Halacha is always “ask your Rav” — no exceptions and no “generally speaking.” Navah will offer to remind you to call him. It does not give medical or financial advice either.
  • Let another family see your information. Every household is isolated in the database itself, not by a filter in the app, so a bug in the app cannot cross the line.

This is a founding-member pilot

  • Navah is early. You are joining a pilot, not a finished product. Tell Navah when something is wrong and the note goes straight to the person building it.
  • It is a convenience tool, nothing more. Navah is not a medical, emergency or professional service, and it is not a substitute for one. The Terms say so in plain language.
  • One address for everything. hello@navah.ai — the same address the HELP reply gives you. Questions, problems, billing, deletion by hand.
